| Note | Harry Garner was a mill engineer throughout his working life. He was em ployed by Tweedales & Smalley, Castleton at the time he had an accident a t the age of 46, while working at the Firgrove Mill of R Barnes & Sons L td. It appears that workmen dislodged a brick which fell onto the belt o f the line-shafting and then travelled along and flying off the end and s triking him on the head. He sufferd laceration to his face requiring tr eatment at Rochdale Infirmary. |
